if the washer doesnt drain and you have cleaned the filter could the pump have stopped working

yep, strip pump and check it's not blocked internally and that the impeller turns as maybe seized,impeller may have come adrift of the drive shaft due to wear in the plastic moulding, caused by the pump driving but the impeller not turning
