HOW TO FIX A TOMTOM 510 ?

HI I HAVE A TOMTOM 510 IT WAS WORKING FINE . BUT IT FELL OFF ITS HOLDER ONTO THE FLOOR .IT STILL WORKED OK BUT WHEN THE BATTERY WENT FLAT IT WILL NOT CHARGE UP . THE GREEN LIGHT COMES ON AS IF IT IS CHARGING BUT WILL NOT TURN ON . CAN YOU PLEASE HELP. THANKS PAUL IN LEEDS
