How can I fix the filler cap on my Polti Eco Pro 3000 Lux vaporetto?

The cap on the above appliance - a Polti Vaporetto ECOPRO 3000 Lux has disintegrated and I am having trouble putting it back together. Can I repair it or will I need a replacement? If the latter. Where do I get one?
