Mend lexus Lights Peugeot Work

lexus lights?

i bought a set of lexus rear lights for my peugeot 206 and fitted them but found i had a problem the lights work fine when i brake but my front sidelight comes on and goes off when i release the brake pedal but here is the puzzling part when i put on my side lights or headlights my brake lights stay on i cant understand it can anyone help

Yep - the earth connection, thats the one from the lamp bulb cluster to the cars bodywork isn't good.
