It’s not a Sthil so don’t expect same quality for a fraction of the price. Mine is now well over 10 years old and still going strong. Had to replace pull cord/clutch I broke spring. Most parts still available from China for nothing ! But you have to wait.

The T2600 seems to be, I've just discovered, a Zomax machine. Whitemoss Garden equipment( Tel: 01480 404945) sell them and have spare parts. Petrol tanks, not caps alone, for £12 inc postage.( they have shop on e-bay)

I need a new petrol tank for my t2600 and I wonder if you do too. The rim of my tank has chipped off and petrol leaks out. If anyone has a solution, i.e where to get a new tank or how to repair it I would be grateful.

I don't think you'll ever get a genuine spare mate - best try stockists of Stihl, Husqvarna, Echo etc and see what they have got in the way of fuel caps.
