Mend Help Bit Bike

help please. some one who knows a bit bout bikes ?

hi. my bike is derestricted and on the end of the pipe the skinny long bit that restricts it has been cut off. but when i look inside there are sum swirls fings i have read they are called ''burr'' if i file them off will this improve my bike a bit? thank you.

Not really Josh....I presume you are talking about the baffles in the end of the exhaust tailpipe that have been removed?
