Mend Ford Focus Central Locking Fob

Ford Focus Central Locking problem?

I have a 2000 Focus and the Central Locking using the Fob has stopped working, on the drivers door only.
It still works using the key in the drivers door, so the fault would seem to be with the drivers door sensor ?

Is it worth checking the fuse ?
