Mend Nissan Almera Car Start

Car won't start after battery went flat?

hi, I own a nissan almera and recently the battery drained after light was left on in the car, recharged battery and still the car won't start, Red key flashing on dashboard with car. any ideas would be appreciated

sounds like the transponder in the key is out of sync with the E C U, the ignition should be switched on and left for about 1 minute before trying to start the engine it may take a couple of attempts to sort it
