Zanussi Aquacycle won't start but locked with door light on ?

Can you help please? Aquacycle 1400 (FLE 1416W) is jammed shut, door locked (light on) with clothes inside, no water yet. The green start/pause light is flashing but will not switch programme on to run as it should when pressed. Programme lights are all lit as usual.

I seem to remember a repair man once showing me how to press two or more buttons simultaneously to clear an electronic jam but I've tried various combinations to no avail. Many thanks in hope!
