How can I obtain security codes for the engine of my 1998 Vectra 1.8?
The CPU Unit in my S Reg (1.8) Vauxhall Vectra has broke and the Vauxhall garage who are fitting a new one have said that they can not fit it unless they have 'the security codes', have you any ideas where I can find these codes?
The security codes are also needed to re-program the ecu. Vauxhall main dealer sends your car details to vauxhall themselves. This will cost around £20.00

Vauxhall main dealer only to do that they need to plug it into there tech2 diagnostic machine and re-programe the ecu.
