Hotpoint SQ661L oven has no power. Fuse in plug OK?

Does anyone have any idea why the Hotpoint SQ661L oven has no power when plugged in. The fuse in the plug has been checked and it fine. There is absolutely no power to the oven, no clock lighting up and the light in the oven is not working either. There was a strange smell coming from the oven when switched on so unplugged and replugged in - now no power.
