After removing a sensor for decorating purposes, my alarm will now not work. The system went into tamper alarm as expected when i removed the sensor, but after refitting, none of the sensors show red lights and the whole system doesn't work properly. I silenced the tamper alarm with my 4 digit code. This code still seems to activate everything but the sensors.

Sounds like you might have shorted 12v feed to passive detectors.
Sometimes protected by a small fuse on board. Check the 12v
feed to passives on circuit board using suitable volt meter.
