how do you thread the machine ?

There are several models of the Capri but follow this guide, from the reel pin go straight to the left and over the top guide,, down and over the tension, you should be able to hook it under a clip on the right hand side then over the top and straight down to the largee cotton guide, round the right and back up the left hand side to the takeup lever, make sure the lever is at the top, through the takeup lever right to left and then follow the guides all the way down to the needle, thread front to back, make sure the flat side of the needle is facing back, top tension setting should ba about 4 or 5, the bobbin case is either black or grey that the bobbin sits in, make sure the bobbin turns anti clockwise.
