Mend Mercury Grand Marquis Overheating Car Temperature

my car keeps over heating?

I have a 1995 Mercury Grand Marqui and it keeps over heating i add water like 3x a day i can't figure out how to fix it HELP!!!!

You probably need a new thermostat. The existing one is not opening to allow the coolant to flow through the engine to cool it. Most enthusiastic DIY lads can fit a new thermostat without too much hassle. Hope this helps.
