Mend Thomson DB250 Freeview Receiver Remote

Thomson DB250 freeview box - both my remotes not working?

After a few months of trouble free usage neither of my remotes will now communicate with the box. All batteries should be ok and the remote flashes when buttons are pressed.

My Thomson tells me that the disc is full but I have only two small recordings on it, can anybody help?
