Mend Peugeot 306 Start Months Fine

peugeot306 1.4 2000 edition?

My 306 won't start. It has been left for 8 months. Everything else seems fine but there is no sign of ignition when engine is turned over or bump started.

Check Battery, it is probably dead as a dodo, also put in fresh petrol.
