Mend Diplomat ADP 0100 Temperature Oven Thermostat

how can I fix my Diplomat ADP 0100 cooker?

The oven is not reaching the required temperature. There seems to be a lot of heat escaping, but the door seals seem o.k. A technical friend thinks it may be the thermostat, but I can't find any reference on the internet to thermostats for this model...any thoughts?
