Sorry Evo, the ffd is a small peice of rod that is situated just above the burner and when you light the gas it is heated up and opens the main valve. it is very easy to fit and you could try doing a search on the net for one

No it is the ffd (flame failure device) that is faulty and i don't think that they are available to the general public
