Mend Fridge Replacing Door

do i need to buy a fixing kit for integrated fridge?

I am replacing a fridge that was part of my fitted kitchen. The fridge had a unit door attached.
The fridge is a small single door larder fridge, will a new fridge come with a kit to attach unit door or would i need to purchase this separately. If so is this hard to do for a barnie bodgit like me?

Thanks

If you are lucky, you might use your old door panel on your new fridge.Typically the door panel is attatched to a piece of 1/4 inch flat stock, usually plywood. If your new unit has a slide out panel on the door, you probably do not need to buy a kit.The decorative panel would be attatched to a 1/4 inch plywood,or even the panel that is there. Then slide it into the panel slot in the door. This will probably require the direction manual for your new unit.Depending on the model, the decorative panel sometimes screws directly on from behind the door.If the unit requires a kit,it is probably stated in the manual.Usually, all the information that you need is in the manual, although it is often difficult to understand.A custom cabinetmaker may be required for this, but if you already have a decorative panel and the appliance manual, you should be O.K.Don't be afraid to read the manual as many times as it takes to understand what you are doing.Sometimes it is simple, sometimes complicated.GOOD LUCK!!!
