Mend Peugeot 406 Door Central Locking

cant open rear door pug 406?

cant open rear door on peugeot 406. central locking works fine but motor makes buzzing noise. have taken door panel off and everything looks fine. have heard it could be deadlock seized. any ideas on how i could free it?

Peugeot Peugeot 406 Vehicles, Cars Door Central Locking

I had the same problem on my 406 gtx the lock had to be cut out and a new one fitted.
Cost approx £125 by a local garage. They said it was a common problem and the only way of fixing it was a new lock.
