Hotpoint AQXXF 149PM Main Module fitting?

Hotpoint Washing Machine AQXXF 149 PM
I had to replace the main module due to a inquisitive slug!!
On fitting new module (hopefully correctly)the display on the front shows: temp 88 C ; Spin speed 4112 ; delay timer 0.01 and will not operate.
Have I fitted it incorrectly or is there some resetting procedure.
Any assistance gratefull received
