I have done this job myself, believe it or not, yesterday. There are no metal bearings on this machine, if this is the hotpoint reversomatic dryer plus 9325 which is some 15 years old. The first thing to do is to take off the top of the machine. At the back there are two screws, take them off, then lift up the top with some pressure as the front part is kept down by two rubber stoppers. Take off the front top plastic control panel by first pulling out the timer knob, then unscrew the two little screws behind the timer knob. Now since the top is off you can see the inside of the machine and you can see the back of the control panel. There are no more screws to take out. The control panel is held by push in clips attached to the panel itself, so be careful otherwise you will break the panel. With a plastic hammer, hammer on the white clips and the control panel should be out. Unscrew the four screws which are holding the front panel complete with the door of the machine, unscrew the four screws which are visible when you open the door and pull out the rubber seal of the door and now the front is exposed and you can have a view of the drum. Take apart the front part of the drum which holds the heating elements and the so called 'bearings'. Now these are six pieces of plastic white strips about 8cms x 2cms held in place by inserting their ends into the slots. These act like friction reducers between the drum which is made of plastic and the ring which houses the heating elements. These can be bought as a set of six or so. There is no need to take out the drum at this point. Might as well clean the back of the drum. Unscrew the three screws visible from inside the drum. There is a plastic ring which acts like a bearing when the drum is going round. Clean every part. Do not grease anywhere. Clean and polish only. assemble everything the other way round. Good Luck
