my sony cdx-m800 has suddenly stopped working...the fuse is ok...any ideas?

ive just bought this unit since ive bought it i can not get the code to enter the unit ive been told the code is 5415 but after entering it say error code anybody know how i can get round this

I have the same problem, I think it's the ribben which links the front face with the unit - not sure how you open a "dead" unit though???
