Gerry,
I'll start with the obvious?
Warranty?
Correct fuse?
Is fuse OK?
Earth Leakage trip?
Dirty water? Could it be jammed with debris?
Is there any noise from motor like its trying to turn? Does the fuse pop immediately?
Why did you buy it when a Karcher is better value and you can get the parts? (New Karcher for £30)
I'm afraid brands like this are throw away if there is a fault and I'm assuming from your request you are not knowledgeable enough to do the mechanical/electrical checks?
Find a friend who is and be prepared to bin it.
Sorry.
