How can I fix my Braun 5416 shaver? It does not turn on anymore?

My Braun Shaver 5416 works fine with a new battery that I replaced however when i plug it the lights do not come on so I suspect that the something in the circuit board is bad. I need to replace the circuit board. Anyone knows where I could buy one?????????

I know this is an old post. I just bought a 5314 which is the same series as 5316. The difference is the 5314 has only a green charge light and no red light for when the shaver needs to be recharged. When I got it the shaver was completely dead and the green light would not light with the cord plugged in. I verified the power cable is getting power. I changed the battery and with the new battery the shaver works. However when I plug the shaver in the green light does not light. I fear it may be the circuit board. If anyone knows what typically goes wrong with the circuit board I am capable of replacing parts which need soldering. I see no evidence of damage to the actual board. I bought this shaver as a practice test model while away from home as I also have the 5316 sitting in the back of my drawer at home. This should apply to 5312; 5314; 5315 and 5316 according to the owners manual. They are essentially the same shaver although the 5312 takes 8 hours to charge so though it looks the same something is different with the battery or charging system.

Hi most probably the batteries have expired and perhaps also the motor drive. I've experienced the same. I have a nice Braun model from circa 1989, first it stopped charging so I used it corded only, since last week the whirring of the motor has gone slower so I fear the motor is about to die. I'm looking for help with dealers and on the internet. Hope this helps.
