Recently our gas meter ran out of credit, and after we applied more our boiler was off, pilot light is out and it's giving no sign of life. The indicator lights say pilot is on but it isn't
Yes our oven is gas and that's working fine. Since it shutdown the boiler seems to be on strike :o/
I've a feeling it's something silly but have no idea about this sort of thing

The only knob to turn is the thermostat knob. I followed the reset instructions by turning this fully but nothing is happening.
The gas supply was off for an hour at the most so how could that mess this up? :(

the boiler will go to lockout if there is no gas , reset the boiler by turning the knob to the left then back on keep doing this, the boiler will try to ignite then go to lock out keep doing this untill the air is purged out of the gas pipe

I've tried turning it off for a while, then back on again.
It makes a slight whiring noise then stops
