Mend Wont Off Even Down

My refrigerator won't shut off, even with the t-stat turned down?

How do I meter test it? There are 6 wires coming down to a connector, which connects to the compressor. (orange, white, blue, black, brown and yellow) Which ones go to the thermostat?

Kitchen Appliances, Refrigerators Wont Off Even Down

Don't bother testing it with a meter it won't help you. Simple answer is that if it is turned right down & still runs too long then it is faulty. You can't repair them so replace it.
