Mend Whirlpool AFG8275NF Temperature Freezer Set

What temperature should a freezer normally be set at?

The Whirlpool AFG8275NF is showing -6C and the alarm is sounding. Pressing the fast freeze button does not appear to be helping matters. Any suggestions please?
