How can I fix my bonnet release catch on a Ford Ka 2000?

My spring has fallen out of my bonnet release catch under the steering wheel and need to open my bonnet but when I pull the lever there is no resistance and I can't open. Is there a way of me fitting the spring or a way of getting the bonnet open - thanks for all your help in advance.
