That's a myth, there is no such thing for any alarm panel - think about it.

You need an installation manual or much better still an alarm engineer.

It is about as easy a a video recorder and we all know what trouble we have with those. Problem is, mess up the video - start again, mess up the alarm - big problems, you will then need the engineer.

One other thing, it is possible to default the Codes, that is, Engineer & User, the real problem starts if the Engineer Code has been 'Locked' and you would only find that out while trying to default.
