my ghds will not turn on at all and i have checked the fuse, its not that or a power cut, basiaclly i plug them in turn them on at the socket and on the straightner and there is no light or heat. please help anyone
Had a short circuit 5V zener diode in a pair once (don't know which model though!)

that is bad... for ghd's. They are meant to be good, quality, the best invention of straighteners so far anyway. That is a rip off aswell if they dont work. Dont even bother getting them mended. You brought them, faulty! Even if they are mended, the problem will still accour again, in the future. Take them back to your store you brought them fromm. x

Depends on the model. if Mk3 then will be a heater problem. If mk3.1b or fuse then will be the internal thermal fuse. Or with Mk4 could be the 100 ohm resistor. Look on ebay there are many people who repair them
