how can i fix my russell hobbs steam glide 2200 model 13161?

my russell hobbs steam glide 2200 iron will no longer heat up. Model number 13161 please can you help me and is this repairable because i love this iron and even tho i bought a new iron its no where near as good as the russell hobbs steam glide 2200

Under the hot disc that contains the water/steam there are two thermal cut out safety switches, these can go faulty, get replacement parts or alternatively just remove them and short them out and the iron should work again (at least until your solenoid pump chucks it, another generic fault with these irons)
