Mend Maytag Vintage Going Apart

Vintage Maytag is not going into it's spin-rinse cycle?

I want to fix it myself. What do I take apart and what
do I replace.

Does the motor stop during agitation and reverse for spin (it should)? May be the motor or motor start switch is bad. If you hear the motor running, it could just be the belt (part# 211124).
