How can i fix my briggs & straton tiller 122k02?

briggs & straton tiller model 122ko2 type 0217e1. tiller will only run with the choke on.

hi ive had my briggs and straton lawnmower engine to bits now it wont start ?it just keeps blowing out of the carb as if its lost its timeing but its keyed can you help many thanks.Nigel.

Sounds like the carb needs attention.
A rebuild may be in order. The carb rebuid kit for your engine is Briggs P/N 498260 available at any Briggs Dealer.
