bosh dryer making a whine noise and not working?

My dryer did the same thing, I lifted up the top, unscrewed the front of the dryer and lifted it off, in the bottom right corner you will see a fan inside a box, check to make sure theres a clip holding on the fan, mine broke off and I used a small hose clamp to hold on the fan, it should spin when you spin your clothes tumbler by hand without making the whine noise, hopefully this helps you, mine did the exact same thing
