Bearing removal on LG 1480FHD?

Have sourced replacement bearings for LG 1480FHD direct drive washer. Machine is stripped and bearings exposed. I managed to get the oil seal and inner (drum side) bearing out but can't get the outer bearing (motor side) to budge. How do you get it out without damaging the seating?
