Mend Vauxhall TS2004 Light Located Sensor

have a TS 2004 Astra, no reverse light wheres the sense located?

I am replacing the reversing sensor on a 2004 Astra 2.2 SRi where is it located on the gear box but where?

Vauxhall Vauxhall TS2004 Vehicles, Cars Light Located Sensor

OK found it and installed, remove passenger side front wheel and bingo look at the gear box and there it is. 15 mm spanner remove the electrics first, do not just pull it has a clip locating it.

I can't recall the position directly, but look for a couple of wires going into a plug on the gearbox and you shouldn't be too far away!
