iHAVE A CEILING FAN THAT RUNS SLOW ON ALL SPEEDS, INSIDE THE HOUISING IS A SINGLE, TWO WIRE CAPACITOR MARKED WITH CBB61 1.5UF. WHERE CAN ONE OF THESE BEE OBTAINED, WILL REPLACING IT CURE MY FAULT?

where is the capacitor located? is it in the housing on top of the fan?

The capacitor should have voltage marked on it, if not must be higher value than 240v. Try RS Components, Maplins or industrial electronics outlet.
It is possible for the capacitor to develop a partial short reducing the value and causing low speed.
