Mend Saniflo Sanivite3 Start Assistance Problem

Saniflo Sanivite3 Buzzs pump wont start without assistance?

Hi,
For all those trying, the lid does come off, but very tight.

My problem is I opperate the pad, motor buzzes, and will only turn if I spin the pump, then it's bursts into life and is fine, until I release the pad. Any ideas?

My problem was the motor start capacitor, available from RS components. between 10 and 15uf - about £5 (befor you start the job - get an aquavac ;-)

Mine stopped working and just hummed. I phoned Saniflo who said the capacitor may have broken. They were correct and I fitted a new one and it now works.
