Sears Craftsman Rotary Lawn Mower Model 917.377070?

My mulcher door came off its' spring hinge and I can't for the life of me get it back on, right now I've resorted to good ole duct tape. Any suggestions on how to get the door back on its hinge?

My door came off about 2 months after I purchased the mower, I called and they sent me a new one and I remember it was a real pain getting it back on , sorry I couldnt help just keep trying.
