my jvc gr-d290u is in safeguardd mode?

my jvc camcorder gr-d290u is in safe guard mode and it says take out the battery or eject tape. The eject is not working it wont slide down all the so I cant close the cover
and went I put a minidv in it gets stuck. Is there anything I
can do to fix this.

The only thing you can do without causing more problems is to remove the battery then butt it back on and try again. Do not try to force or push the mechanism. Send it to an expert.
