Mend Zanussi ZDF131 Dishwasher Draining

my dishwasher only drains when turned onto cycle?

My Zanuusi ZDF131 dishwasher will only drain then stop when turned to a cycle then button is pressed. Both lights are on but after a few seconds of draining it stops and does nothing else
What can i check please?
