How do I remove the interior door panel on a ford fiesta?

The drivers side window would not work on my fiesta - i prised the hard plastic panel on the door apart using a kitchen knife - it pops off bit by bit - this reveals a blue connector and a blak connector going into the window switch - try swopping these over - you may then find that the window works again -although you will only be able to open the passenger window by using the switch on the passenger side door.
