The same thing has happened to my straighteners. If you go to the ghd website there is a help line you can contact for all the information. When I spoke to ghd by email they said that the only way the straighteners can be repaired is through the ghd company and if tampered with yourself it can effect the guarantee. There is an address to which you must send the damaged goods and they will repair them and if they have expired there guarentee they will inform you of any charge before work commences. You must include a letter of explanation and a proof or purchase with the straighteners. And they should return them promptly.Hope this helps?
