Door handle fixing for Fisher and Paykel Nautilus?

I need to replace door handle to the dishwasher and assume that I will have to do so by removing the inside panel for access. However I am slightly put off by having to remove electrical wiring and inside plastic panel to achieve this.

Am I missing something obvious
