How do i change a belt for a 68 model John Deere rider mower?

i have no mannual to follow. i have removed the left deck guard already. How would i remove the right deck guard to remove the belt so i can replace the old belt on this rider. does the deck need to be detached from the rider? then how can i put on the new belt?

Drop the whole deck off, you will also have to remove the belt guard on the back. It looks alot tougher than it is, I would replace blade while deck was off.

you have to remove the top bolt on one pully only then feed belt around Just did my own simple
