handbrake adjust on 2001 406 saloon disc rear brake?

remove rear wheels. on part of disc where wheel bolts go will be either a small rubber bung or a hole if it is missing. turn disc round until you can see adjuster wheel of hand brake shoes through the small hole.(torch handy here) around 12 o clock ish position i think. with flat screwdriver turn adjuster wheel (upwards i think) until disc wont turn with hands and back off slighlty. operate handbrake and repeat until disc turns nicely. do same other side. if hand brake still too high then adjust cable by slackining 10mm nut on cable at centre of rear of car near axle and tightening other 10mm. be careful as cables corrode and may snap when 10mm tightened. (plenty of wd40) hope this helps.
