Mend Carver 3000 Gas Heater Flame

caravan?

carver 3000 gas heater is not keeping the pilot light on, it has had a new thermo coupling fitted, when it did light for a short time, it was burning blue as a pilot light but when we turned it up it went very yellow and made a lound noise.
