washing machine not rinsing correctly. Fabric softener still in drawer?

Water for the fabric softener drawer has its own solenoid valve . (The other one is for the soap drawer).
Sounds as if this solenoid valve has stopped working. Unplug the machine . Take the lid off and you should be able to trace the pipes going to the conditioner and soap drawers. The faulty valve can be easily disconected with basic diy tools (screwdriver and pliers) and replaced.
