When should the cambelt on a 2003 Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi LX be changed?

its the same engine as fitted to the c3 and the reccomended interval for that is 150000 miles or 10 years which ever is the sooner i don't think i would leave it that long but thats what the service scheduel says think i would half it, a lot cheaper than a new engine

Hi,
There is no data in the autodata manual for this engine but for the 2.0 HDi engine is states replace every 96,000 miles under normal use. I can't see there being any difference for your engine
